With our one-to-one bespoke French courses for adults and young people, you will make quick progress with a teacher who focuses on your specific needs and helps you to progress!
You choose the dates, times, and frequency of lessons to suit your schedule – and if you prefer, lessons can also take place online.

If you don’t yet know your level, take a placement test. This test is highly recommended for easier and more effective learning.
Price:€ 25.
For any individual course covered by the employer, the business price shall be applied (go to page In-company courses).
Recommended duration and frequency of lessons: 90 minutes, twice a week.
Prices for travel outside Luxembourg-city: € 0,40 / km
For online lessons, it is requested to have a computer/laptop or a tablet equipped with a webcam, microphone, and Internet access.

Excellent French Tuition
I highly recommend French group lessons at Institut Français Luxembourg. Small groups allow for flexibility and active participation of the students. The course was well structured covering a wide range of topics with good course material. I found our teacher highly motivated (and motivating!) with profound knowledge of the subject matter. The school is well organised with always helpful staff . Thanks to IFL I feel I made great progress in my endeavours of learning the French language.
Des cours de qualité
J’ai fait appel à l’IFL pour que mes enfants se perfectionnent à l’écrit en français. Je souhaitais qu’ils préparent l’examen du DELF adapté à leur âge ( 13 et 9 ans). L’enseignante sélectionnée par l’Institut a parfaitement rempli sa mission. Elle a procédé dans un premier temps à une évaluation puis elle a mis au point un programme individualisé, ciblant les lacunes à combler. Les enfants ont passé avec succès l’examen, avec de très bons scores.
L’Institut répond efficacement aux attentes des personnes souhaitant apprendre le français, en recourant à de véritables professionnels ayant une bonne maîtrise de la pédagogie. Merci à eux !
