Young learners
New – Summer French courses for kids and teens: 7 – 16 years old
As required by the CEFRL, our approach is based on learning French through tasks.
The approach is based on authentic documents, observation, reflection, systematization and then the realization of a communicative task in a playful way. Workshops focus on developing speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. Those immersion programs are perfectly adapted to the children’s age and abilities.

Courses for children 6 – 12 years
Between game, pleasure and learning, playful activities are offered to arouse the curiosity, imagination and expression of children. The activities are specifically designed and adapted to the children’s age. The proposed sequences aim to develop the auditory discrimination, phonological skills, the oral and written expression. Manual, singing activities and board games together with stories are offered.

Courses for teenagers 13 – 18 years
Once a week, the Institut français du Luxembourg offers courses in French as Foreign Language (FLE) and French as Mother Tongue (FLAM) for teenagers 13-18 years old.
Whether beginners or advanced level, teenagers learn the language in an enjoyable yet serious way: comprehension, speaking, reading and writing in French are the aims of the courses for teenagers which range from the A1 to the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Facilitated by teachers who are specialised in teaching teenagers, these courses are based on a proactive and fun method.

cours de français avec Mme Lemoine
J’ai bien aimé la façon que Mme Lemoine a utilisé pour m’apprendre la langue.
j’espére d’avoir la possibilité d’évoluer et profiter encore de ses cours.
Private lessons at IFL
We were a class of 2 people and took 15 private lessons.
I am personally very happy with the teacher we had (Mrs Dimena Ernst)
The lesson was well prepared and structured.
The school and Laetitia were very helpful and responsive.
The only downside for me is the fact that the lessons are not the cheapest.
Super organization, very friendly staff and experienced teachers.
Very well organized and helpful team, experienced teacher, I am so happy that I choose IFL for my French formation.
